Stellic FAQ
Watch the Introduction to Stellic at Cornell University video to see how Stellic can help students plan classes, track degree progress, and more.
This is the message that is shown when someone signs into Stellic, but hasn’t been activated in the system. Given the phased approach to implementation, not all students, faculty, and professional advisors in CALS or across the institution will have access (be activated) to Stellic at the same time. Students and advisors will receive an email to their Cornell-assigned email address as the platform becomes available to them. There is no need to take any special action to gain access, at this time.
If you are a CALS student or advisor, or aren’t affiliated with CALS, and you have not received an email notification from CALS indicating that Stellic is available to you, then Stellic is not yet accessible to you.
If you are a CALS student and have received email notification from CALS that Stellic is available to you, and you’re getting this message:
1. Confirm you received the notification email that Stellic is available to you, titled
“[insert]” from cals-studentservices@cornell.edu to your Cornell-assigned email
address.
a. Check your spam/junk/deleted items folders.
b. Run a search in your inbox and other email folders for
“cals-studentservices@cornell.edu” and “Stellic.”
c. If you have mail-forwarding set up, log in to and check your connected
email accounts.
2. Review the common issues that could be affecting your ability to log in.
3. If access issues persist, please contact
your Home College Student Services Office.
Stellic has a Stellic Help Center. Additionally, the Stellic support team is available to students and advisors via chat directly within the portal.
Students who have questions for their advisor, or who need help with their academic records, should check the Support section.
Not at this time. Students will continue to register for classes in Student Center.
We realize how important it is for students to track their degree progress during this transitional time. Each Cornell college/school manages and tracks degree progress, most often with systems/practices individualized to their college/school. CALS students who don't have access to Stellic can continue to track their degree process using DUST and any other major resources they've been provided with. Students from other colleges/schools should contact their Home College Student Services Office for additional information on how to plan and track their academic progress.
