ID Card Services

ID Services:

Fall 2020 students: Students who were remote for 20-21 academic year and did not receive an ID card will receive one in the same way as new students, outlined below.

Undergraduate student ID card

  • Undergraduate students living on-campus: ID cards will be available at your residence hall service center upon your move-in.
  • Undergraduate students living off-campus: ID cards can be picked up during any of the office hours below.

Graduate student ID card

  • Students need to contact their fields/colleges for information on ID distribution.

Johnson School student ID card

  • ID cards will be distributed during program Orientation events.

Law School student ID card

  • ID card distribution will begin at 8am on Monday, August 9 at the office of the Law School Registrar.
  • LLM students will receive their cards on August 23 starting at 1pm, by assigned group.

Veterinary School student ID card

  • ID card distribution will begin on Thursday, August 12 at the office of the Veterinary School Registrar.

ID Card Hours of Operation (All times are subject to change, please check the OUR website for updates)

Office of the University Registrar will be open in B07 Day Hall.

Week of August 30:

  • Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm

Starting September 7

  • 11am-2pm, daily

Lost/Replacement ID card

  1. If you prefer a lost, stolen, or defective replacement ID is mailed, please complete this form. Mailing will take approximately 7-10 business days. You will be asked to return the defective ID to avoid charges. https://registrar.cornell.edu/form/id-card-contact-form.
  2. If you prefer to pick-up a lost, stolen, or defective replacement ID, please come to Day Hall at the times provided and bring the defective ID card with you.

 Faculty and staff:  Faculty and staff can obtain ID card services by emailing hrservices@cornell.edu.

Student spouse/partner ID card requests will be processed starting on approximately September 20.
